I am Harry, a New Zealand certified dog groomer, owner and head groomer at The Pet Spa, Island Bay. I have pretty much lived with dogs my entire life and have thus developed a deep understanding of their behaviour and an undying love for the species.I firmly believe in a compassionate and skillful approach towards grooming.
The best part about my work is that it has never felt like work to me, I throughly enjoy the time I spend with the dogs and cats and it brings me immense joy when I see them leaving transformed.

Lovely service by Harry as always. Our Cookie is Kind of a difficult dog but Harry manages to calm her down and make her comfortable. It's good to see a groomer take extra time just for your dog's comfort. I highly recommend his services to everyone out there.
Doodle, my Golder Retriever has never shined the way he did after. I started bringing him at Harry's for the grooming. It's a tough job to maintain Doodle's fur and Harry has made it so easy for us. We just have to pop in every month or so and done. Whoa!
I went for a full groom for my Shih Tzu and have never been happier. Right from the fur to the nail clipping, there is beautiful finishing and incredible skillfulness. My doggo looks like a different dog altogether, I can't stop clicking pictures of my boy tonight. Thanks for this, Harry
I would really like to take time and thank Harry for how he treats our old dog Jack. He is always extremely patient and kind with him and handles him really carefully. We have had bad experiences with groomers in the past but it was a whole different experience when I first svisited this place. I can tell that he has a real passion for what he does.
